Gaia's Root
Nation Akhan
Classes Rune Officiator
Type Cast
Learned From skill books, one step per book
Target An enemy
Stats per step INT 7 and DEX 3

Gaia's Root is a cast skill of the Rune Officiator (Akhan).

Attacks the target by strong arboreous magic. Has chance to slow target.

Effect

A Magic damage spell. The target is also held in place (it cannot move) for ((2g − 1) × L + 2 × (g − 1)) × 0.25 seconds × the level difference factor, unless it resists.

In the formulas, k is the skill's step (1 to 24), g its grade (1 to 4 for I to IV) and L the step within the grade (1 to 6), so k = 6 × (g − 1) + L.

By grade

MP per use is for the first to the last step of the grade. Recharge is at DEX 20; more DEX shortens it.

Grade MP per use Range Area Recharge Stats to learn the steps
I 60 to 360 18 m — 8 s INT 7 to 42 and DEX 3 to 18
II 480 to 1,080 18 m 5 m 18 s INT 49 to 84 and DEX 21 to 36
III 1,260 to 2,160 18 m 8 m 40 s INT 91 to 126 and DEX 39 to 54
IV 2,400 to 3,600 18 m 10 m 60 s INT 133 to 168 and DEX 57 to 72

Skill books

Each book adds one step. A book works only on a skill of its own grade.
