Phase 1

Listen to the Opeiny Trainer's advice for Combat and Skills

As soon as you accept the quest:
- “Ok..let's discuss the combat system. Mouse mode and keyboard mode. It is easy for you to use these two modes when you are operating the character. These two modes can be changed by pressing [ESC]. In [Mouse Method], you can also press the [W] key to change to keyboard mode. [Mouse mode] Although it is easy and convenient [direction keyboard] and [space] keyboard's group, despite they are multiples of the operating, but the main disadvantage is the hand can't leave the keyboard. The hands can't leave the keyboard. So, the two methods combined to use is the best way. Continuous attack. Including all jobs, when it is nearer attack, it can attacking continuously, but when it is continuous to attack, the attack will delay and will be shorten at the time then it will harm it too. [Continuous attack -Mouse method]. When choosing the enemy on the left, one time can get the continuous attack already. Continuous attack -keyboard method when facing the enemy. [Cancel Attack] use when continuous attack, the delay of attack will stop. Continue attack is called as [INSTANCE] attack as well. [Energy intensified (escape)], the combination of Left/Right direction button and 'Space' button are used together with Energy intensified that can dodge attack. You can move faster in a short range when you press Left (A) or right (D) key together with Space key.Different value of 'DEX' will have different moving range, Energy intensified can use for attack purpose in close combat. That's all about Combat Control. Press [<] button on the upper right to view previous messages. You can refer to the officiator trainer about the explanation about skills. Listen to the trainer.”

Listen to Opeiny [Officiator] about skills explanation

Talk to Officiator trainer — LeiHan, near Opeiny (2388, 3298).
- Then:
  - “I will explain about skills. [Basic Skills] You can use any skills that suits your characteristics and stats in RYL. [Learn Skills] If you want to learn any skills, you can get from the specific trainer before you can learn it. But first you must have the required stats and also suitable job, press 'K' to open skills window, and confirm the total skill slot that are available for use. If the skills is not learned before then it will automatically added into skill slot labeled 'blank', if it is learned then the level of that skills will be upgraded. [Upgrade skills] There are 2 kind of upgrade including 'Skill level' and 'skill grade' . In order to upgrade skill level you have to use a same book repeat, you will gain 1 level for each book you use and the maximum level for each grade is level 6 [Skill Grade] will automatically be promoted to another level when the skill level reach level 6, then you can only upgrade your skill level by using books of the next level. The maximum [Skill grade] is level 5 currently. You must use skill books in order to upgrade your skills. If you want to upgrade a kills to Grade level 4 Skill level 6 then you will need total of 24 books for each skill. [Type of skills] PASSIVE : This kind of skills can't be located on the shortcut bar, but you will not consume Mp once you learn it. [INSTANCE] : Unleash instantly when you use it. [CAST] : Hold right mouse button and a bar will appear on the top left corner, it is use to enhance your skill power, the longer you hold the higher the damage [CHANT]: Can be located on the shortcut bar and use when you activate it, it will be deactivate when you click it one more time. The main function is to add effect to team members. The MP is being consume while the skills is activate. [Use skills] Some skills that can only b learned after change job can only learned by equipping [Skill Arm]. Press 'K' to open the skill window and click on it in order to move it to shortcut bar. Shortcut bar (numbered slot on the left screen) can use to put in your skills or consumable items. You can use all the skills by right clicking the mouse except PASSIVE skills, and that you have the required condition. This is all about skills.
