Help the General Items Merchant to collect what he needs.

Story

Monster drops can help you upgrade your skills. The General Merchant is busy collecting and creating new items. Help him collect these to get your reward.

Steps

Phase 1

Collect what the General Merchant needs by slaying monsters.

• As soon as you accept the quest:
  • “Oh! I need help with something. Can you help me? Help me kill 5 [Giant Merman], 4 [Night Beetle], and 2 [Goblin Attacker] and bring me the drops? I will give you a special gift if you accomplish the mission. Kill the Giant Mermen, Night Beetles and Goblin Attackers and bring back the drops to me. Remember the order, do not ask why.”

Phase 2

Kill 5 Giant Mermen and pick up the drops.

• Kill 5 × Giant Merman (level 6).
  • After the last kill:
    • “Kill 5 Giant Mermen and pick up the drops.”
    • You receive 5 × Seamen Egg.

Phase 3

Kill 4 Night Beetles and pick up the drops.

• Kill 4 × Night Beetle (level 7).
  • After the last kill:
    • “Kill 4 Night Beetles. Pick up the drops.”
    • You receive 4 × Nocturnal Bug's Crystal.

Phase 4

Kill 2 Goblin Attackers and bring backthe Goblin Attacker drops.

• Kill 2 × Goblin Attacker (level 10).
  • After the last kill:
    • “Kill 2 Goblin Attackers. Bring back the Goblin Attacker drops.”
    • You receive 2 × Goblin's Charm.

Phase 5

Bring the 11 drops to the General Items Merchant.

• Talk to General Items Merchant — South Coast, near Aldia Port (2711, 612).
  • Then:
    • You hand over 5 × Seamen Egg.
    • You hand over 4 × Nocturnal Bug's Crystal.
    • You hand over 2 × Goblin's Charm.
    • “Thank you, you've done a good job. You brought drops back for me. Thank you again. This is ancient gold. Make good use of it.”
    • Reward: 2,300 experience and 6,000 gold.
    • The quest is complete.
  • Without the items: “The items might be delayed.”
