Story

Do you know Nereids's tear? Although they look very pretty, but they are horrible creatures. But there are many people dazzled by their beauty,and there is a tale about them. So, can you help me to do something after listening to the tale?

Steps

Phase 1

Listen to Adi General Items Merchant.

• As soon as you accept the quest:
  • “Once upon a time there was a girl in Sainna Island waiting for her adventurer lover to come back to her, but later she went to find her lover because she couldn't wait anymore. But she had been cursed after being lost on the island. She suffered greatly after knowing she had became very hideous, since then she had lost her sanity and became very violent. But still, she couldn't forget her lover. She looks tough usually but she will think of her past and cry everytime before she died of sadness. She is the [Nereids] ,the tears of her heart will freeze into a diamond. I need one of their tears. I don't want them to be so sad anymore.”

Phase 2

Beat Nereids to get Nereids's tear.

• Kill 1 × Nereids (level 62).
  • After the last kill:
    • “Defeated Nereids. Obtained Nereids's tear.”
    • You receive Slephi's Tear.

Phase 3

Bring Nereids's tear to Adi Basic Weapons Merchant.

• Talk to General Items Merchant — Sainna Island, near Adi (1873, 1614).
  • Then:
    • You hand over Slephi's Tear.
    • “Oh, Thank you. I can earn a lot by selling this, this will be great. Tales? I do not believe in tales anymore, I can't be too naive if I want to be a superior Merchant. Although it's a sad story, but I think it's a tale left for our Kartefant youngsters after the war. Actually it's just a myth. Aah, no one knows whether it's true or fake. If you really want to know the truth, please find [Felidor] at [Faery Lake].”
    • Reward: 2,057,000 experience and 450,000 gold.
    • The quest is complete.
  • Without the items: “Get the Nereids's tear immediately, so that the young girls can listen to the music string.”
